somein30. The theme was "Heroes & Villains" and I chose to do The Boys & The Umbrella Academy. I went for normal mode... again, because well, I'm lazy, but at least I managed to make a full 20 set. Well, I ended with like 50, but I had to cut some of the alts :D Also in the post are some other icons I made recently, that fit the heroes & villains theme.

Date: 2020-10-25 09:57 am (UTC)From villains, I think my favorite is 20, the crop is perfection and I love the muted yet highly contrasted coloring, so clean and perfect. 18 is another one with awesome texture use, and I love the text use and dark negative space in 14.
Holy shit you made a lot of alts :O Super glad to see you were that inspired!! :D I think you chose the best versions for your set, but all these alts are great too, I especially like 24, 25 and 26.
I like that you chose fitting icons to pair with this post, that's such a fun way to do it. Personally I just dump everything I have for each month in one post cause I'm too lazy to make multiple posts in a month :p I especially love 36, super fun colors and composition! The textured looks on 37 and 40 look great too.

Date: 2020-10-26 11:17 am (UTC)I always end up with a lot of alts lol I like to have a variety of colors, although for this set I focused on more cool colors for the heroes and more warm colors for the villains. I'm glad you think I chose the best versions from them, I always have trouble deciding :D
The pairing was kinda accidental, those just happened to be the fandoms I currently have a set of 5 icons, so yay :D

I love the coloring in 8, the cap choice in 13, the composition in 15 to 19 - her hat is quite something!, the hair coloring in 6, and the composition and coloring in 34 and 36. 40 is really cool, too, especially since it's unusual in its coloring.
